Pratyek extracts what's useful, files it under the right category, and confirms back in the same chat thread, in the same language. The Memory dashboard model
A household management system must know what to remember.
A home management system should not become a hoarder. We keep what helps the household run and refuse everything else that puts the household at risk.
01 · Captured
What Pratyek remembers, by category.
Reminders (today, calendar, rules), tasks and shopping lists, bills and renewals, assets (appliances, warranties, vehicles, property), recurring services (milk, newspaper, ironing, therapist visits), staff attendance and salary, and family records (members, document references, contacts, occasions, health).
Pratyek captures metadata - the structured facts the household needs to act on. The original document is referenced, not hoarded; the audio is transcribed, not stored.
02 · Refused
What it never stores, no matter who sends it.
Some documents don't belong on a third-party server, no matter how good the encryption. Pratyek refuses Aadhaar numbers, PAN card images, passport scans, mediclaim card images, driving licence images. If you forward one, Pratyek replies with a polite redirect to DigiLocker, the government's own vault, and asks you to share only the expiry date.

03 · The DigiLocker pattern
Your IDs live in the government's vault. We hold the dates.
Every Indian adult is entitled to a free DigiLocker account - a government-run vault that already holds your passport, driving licence, vehicle RC, and more. Pratyek doesn't try to replicate it. Instead, when you ask "when does my passport expire?", Pratyek answers from the date it remembers, and points you to DigiLocker for the document itself.
The result: nothing sensitive is ever in our database. The household still gets the nudge ten weeks before the passport expires.
Eight everyday beats
Real scenes from real households - what the chat looks like.
1 · Papa forwards the electricity bill. Pratyek extracts amount, due date, consumer number; files it under Bills; replies in eight seconds.
2 · Hinglish voice note about the maid's salary. Pratyek transcribes, logs the payment, deletes the audio after 7 days.
3 · The rent thread the family already had, but searchable. UPI screenshot in, receipt found in two months by month name, no more scrolling.
4 · Logging maid attendance, in three words. "Maid leave Tuesday." Pratyek marks the day, asks if it's paid or unpaid.
